School is in full swing and I couldn’t be happier to see my little learners get back to expanding their horizons and soaking in new information. Starting the new school year can be a time of great excitement… and anxiety for kids and parents. Back to school can be tough even on the most prepared parents. Becoming financially responsible has been a huge topic in our home recently. With two older kids we want to make sure they are fiscally responsible and we know it’s our job as parents to make sure they are ready for the real world. We have set up budgets and jobs for all of our kids, but it can be difficult to distribute that money to them. Gone are the days of a piggy bank. In this day in age with so much technology it just seems so antiquated.

A struggle that we find ourselves coming back to and I believe a lot of parents have the same issue is keeping up with reading. Keeping kids reading at their grade level can prove difficult and not every child learns the same or is receptive to techniques used in the classroom. This year I knew we needed to turn to a system or program that is proven to help kids get ahead. I did my research and came across the Learning Dynamics Reading System.
