The Kimberly - My Favorite Kid Friendly Luxury Accommodations In NYC

Recently, we decided that it was time for our kids to finally experience the Big Apple!  My husband and I had been many times, but this was their first experience, and I couldn’t wait to see NYC through their eyes. For a child, going from a small town to the big city is a huge change, and I knew it would be fascinating for them. New York City isn’t exactly what I would consider kid friendly, but it still has a lot to offer the young ones. From huge parks to amazingly tall buildings, kids are sure to be captivated by this impressive city.

It can be hard for travelers to think outside of the box and even begin to contemplate visiting a developing country like Colombia. Looking back it was one of our best trips and I'm glad we made a leap out of our comfort zone. Here is our fantastic journey in photos:

The Athenaeum: Luxury in the Heart of London

February 2016

When I started looking for a great luxury hotel in which to stay while in London, I was given a suggestion from a friend to check out The Athenaeum. At first glance of their website, I liked what I was seeing. It is rare to see “family” as a tab on most hotel sites, let alone a luxury hotel. Some hotels claim to be family friendly, but you can be left wondering, “What does that really mean?” With Athenaeum, it’s clear from their site what they provide and how they can make your family vacation even better.
