As a family, we have been to Thailand numerous times, but every time we would leave I felt like we had missed something. Every trip was great, and we had visited every historic site and interesting attraction on our list and yet I still felt like something was missing. School is in full swing and I couldn’t be happier to see my little learners get back to expanding their horizons and soaking in new information. Starting the new school year can be a time of great excitement… and anxiety for kids and parents. Back to school can be tough even on the most prepared parents. Our family ditched most of our things about 3 years ago and never looked back. Do I miss some things? Occasionally yes. Do I miss the time and hassle of having too much stuff? Heck No! For us the decision was sparked by traveling more and ultimately only owning what we could fit into four suitcases became the new ideal. I know it sounds a little crazy, but I have never been happier than I am now with so few possessions.

 Before having kids I never knew the joy I would have just watching them play and be kids. It's a funny thing because they are just doing what comes naturally, but I get so much happiness from it. I have loved taking my kiddos to playgrounds since they were toddlers.

We have a little tradition around our house that once summer hits so do regular family movie nights! Without having school the next day we can stay up late and dig into some new and old favorites. A favorite for our whole family is the How to Train Your Dragon movies so when the 3rd movie The Hidden World came out we all ran to Walmart to grab it as soon as possible!
