It’s time for a sequel! I love a good sequel, don’t you? I hope you enjoyed my last article on how to complete an awesome Kansas road trip! While I love being outdoors, I am far cry from a “camping girl”. I love nature up to a point. I have always been this way and now that I am a mother I feel even more strongly against the difficulties of “roughing it”. My kids get messy enough on a regular day at home; I don’t need to complicate things by having them surrounded by dirt and mud. So when we recently planned a trip to Yellowstone I wanted our family to have an authentic experience, while at the same time not ending up covered in dirt and smelling like campfire.

Our family has been traveling the globe for years now, but we always love coming back home to the US. We have now been to all but 13 states, and we love learning more and exploring our home turf. I get people asking me all the time about what state is our favorite, and while I feel every state has something amazing to offer travelers, if I had to pick one that stood out the most and took me by surprise it would be… Kansas! I know what you’re thinking right? Really, Kansas? Yes, Kansas! There’s so much cool stuff and activities for families all stuffed into this awesome state.
