I am not a huge camper, but I do believe when you stay in the mountains that the more it feels like a cabin or has a mountain feel the better. I enjoy soaking in the mountain air in a place that feels like it belongs in the mountains. So when we recently stayed at The Arnold Meadowmont Lodge, it was perfect! From the outside it looks like a typical mountain motel, but once inside you will find a warm inviting room with a cabin feel.

When our family recently headed to San Diego I knew I wanted a different hotel experience, something that embodied the San Diego spirit. I found that and so much more in the amazing hotel; Pier South. When you first pull up it looks like an unassuming beach hotel. Once inside you realize this isn’t your “run of the mill beach hotel”. Instead, this is quite possibly the best beach hotel I have ever stayed in.

When I started looking for a great luxury hotel in which to stay while in London, I was given a suggestion from a friend to check out The Athenaeum. At first glance of their website, I liked what I was seeing. It is rare to see “family” as a tab on most hotel sites, let alone a luxury hotel. Some hotels claim to be family friendly, but you can be left wondering, “What does that really mean?” With Athenaeum, it’s clear from their site what they provide and how they can make your family vacation even better.

Our family loves Best Western’s; I don’t think that’s much of a secret or surprise. What is a surprise especially to us is how different each of them can be. You expect chains to be “cookie-cutter”, but with Best Western, you are dealing with different owners making their hotel a fantastic place for you! There is not another shining example like this than with the Best Western Dry Creek Inn.
