2020 has definitely thrown me for a loop. Like most of you; everything that was once normal has changed. If this was any other year I would be sharing many overseas travels with you right now. Instead I will be homebound for the foreseeable future. I try to lean on the positive side when life throws curveballs my way and so I wanted to make the best of this situation. I knew this was my opportunity to explore my own backyard. So many times travelers forget about the adventure and beauty that lies right in their own hometowns.

One of my main concerns as a parent is to make sure I am teaching my children correct principles. There is so much they need to learn, during the fleeting years I have them in my home, that at times it is almost overwhelming. And yet, perhaps, I was given these children not just to teach, but to also learn from. Children have a wisdom born of innocence that I think we can all learn from. I just love Halloween. It is a time of year that really gets your imagination going. I love how the Fall weather is just getting blustery, and the crunchy leaves cover the ground.
