Whether you travel around the globe (like our family) or head out short trips or “staycations” it can be hard to know what to pack. We have been circling the globe for almost two years now and it can still feel like we just aren’t quite packed right or that we are missing something. Over time I have become a much better packer though and as a mom I am apparently pre-programmed to make sure I have every possible necessity for any possible situation (you just never know when you might need to MacGyver something out of two pencils, a baby wipe and your kids chewed up gum they handed back to you).

When I started looking for a great luxury hotel in which to stay while in London, I was given a suggestion from a friend to check out The Athenaeum. At first glance of their website, I liked what I was seeing. It is rare to see “family” as a tab on most hotel sites, let alone a luxury hotel. Some hotels claim to be family friendly, but you can be left wondering, “What does that really mean?” With Athenaeum, it’s clear from their site what they provide and how they can make your family vacation even better.

Thailand… a destination most travelers long to visit. There’s just something so intriguing with the culture, the sites and all the amazing nature it holds. We recently had the opportunity to visit Bangkok and it was definitely a unique experience we will always remember. While we loved the culture, the incredibly friendly people and seeing all sites, but there was one detail that made our trip even more amazing, and that was where we stayed. When looking for a hotel I wanted something family friendly, comfortable and located in the heart of Bangkok. I knew as soon as I saw U Sathorn I had found the perfect resort for our family.

When most travelers start planning their trip to England they might gravitate to London. While London has plenty to offer, it would be a shame to start and end your England trip there. With so much to see and do just a couple hours right outside of London, you have to make time in your itinerary for places like Oxford.

While Oxford is most famously known for its prestigious University, it holds so much more for those that choose to visit this majestic area each year. Breathtaking… there are many beautiful places and destinations in this world, but few literally take your breath away like Meteora. When speaking to others about taking our family to Greece, most raved about the obvious places like the islands of Santorini and Mykonos. However, Greece holds a hidden gem even more beautiful than what can be found on those islands, and to plan a trip to Greece without including Meteora would be a definite loss.
