There are a lot of hotel choices when visiting NYC; in fact, it can feel pretty overwhelming trying to find the perfect one to choose. They all offer different options and amenities. There is one thing I am always looking for though, something that can’t be made up for in the way a room looks or a nice pool—service. That’s right, service. Because if the staff members treat you well and they genuinely care about your stay, everything else will fall into place. Your room will always be great and your experience will be fantastic.

This is something I was completely wrapped up in at my recent stay to The Kimberly Hotel. The doorman was a little more cheerful, the front desk staff was a little more attentive and that’s when I knew this hotel was different from the rest.

We recently tested out a pretty sweet crossover SUV in one of my favorite cities, NYC! At first it was a little daunting (the thought of trying to navigate the city), but that’s what our Mazda CX-5 was there for. With a great navigation system and sport mode we were ready to take anything on. Let me just warn you that driving in the city isn’t for passive or timid drivers and having a vehicle that has your back is always a plus. Whether you are driving in a big city or out in the country the Mazda CX-5 will have everything you need.

It can be overwhelming when planning a trip to NYC. There are so many things to see and do it can be hard to plan everything out, and then comes the price tag to be able to see everything. Soon you find yourself making sacrifices and cutting back on activities so you can stay on budget. There is a better option though, one that lets you see and do everything you want at a fraction of the cost! New York Pass to the rescue!

I’ve heard the saying since I was a child; it’s all in the details. Until I became an adult I didn’t truly understand what that meant—and until my recent stay at The Langham Place Hotel in NYC I hadn’t seen it put to action so well. When staying at a five-star hotel you get accustomed to the perks and know what to expect, so when you go to another five star hotel and they surpass those perks and expectations I am impressed—Langham Place NYC did just that.
