When most think of pristine beaches and clear water there are probably a lot of places that come to mind, but I can only think of one island and one resort that I would go back to over and over again. That place is Summerbay Resort on Lang Tengah. Malaysia has so much to offer travelers and Summerbay on Lang Tengah is one of those jewels.

I am always on the lookout for fun activities for our family. I always want to find things that can be engaging and that the whole family will love. Our family is really brand loyal; when we find something amazing, we stick with it. This extends to our travel plans as well. I keep detailed notes in my head of what hotels, activities, and restaurants have to offer our family while we travel. What works, and what doesn’t. Who has some of the best amenities, and how our overall experience was. When we head to DC, our “brand loyalty” lies with Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner; they offer everything our family needs.  DC is full of great hotels, but none of them are as family friendly as Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner.

I’ve heard the saying since I was a child; it’s all in the details. Until I became an adult I didn’t truly understand what that meant—and until my recent stay at The Langham Place Hotel in NYC I hadn’t seen it put to action so well. When staying at a five-star hotel you get accustomed to the perks and know what to expect, so when you go to another five star hotel and they surpass those perks and expectations I am impressed—Langham Place NYC did just that.

Kuala Lumpur has so much to offer travelers and is definitely a destination that should be on everyone’s must visit list. For families it’s a great place to relax, soak in some nature and see fantastic sites. Kuala Lumpur has one of the only rainforests in the middle of a big city, the majestic Petronas Towers and so much more.
