At our recent stay with Green Valley Ranch, we were given a special opportunity to try out Color Me Mine. If you haven’t heard of Color Me Mine, it’s a fantastic place for kids and adults to find their creative side through making your own painted creations. This was our first time doing anything like this and the kids were super excited to try it out.

Our family is really brand loyal; when we find something amazing, we stick with it. This extends to our travel plans as well. I keep detailed notes in my head of what hotels, activities, and restaurants have to offer our family while we travel. What works, and what doesn’t. Who has some of the best amenities, and how our overall experience was. When we head to DC, our “brand loyalty” lies with Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner; they offer everything our family needs.  DC is full of great hotels, but none of them are as family friendly as Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner.

Recently, we decided that it was time for our kids to finally experience the Big Apple!  My husband and I had been many times, but this was their first experience, and I couldn’t wait to see NYC through their eyes. For a child, going from a small town to the big city is a huge change, and I knew it would be fascinating for them. New York City isn’t exactly what I would consider kid friendly, but it still has a lot to offer the young ones. From huge parks to amazingly tall buildings, kids are sure to be captivated by this impressive city.

We are a family of four that left it all behind to go travel the world. No, literally we left it all. We sold all of our possessions, packed what we could into four suitcases and said goodbye to suburban life. All we own is now pulled behind us as we travel to new and exciting destinations showing our kids the world and teaching them about new cultures, food and ways of life.
