With the school season in full swing, our family has been looking into different resources that could be beneficial to our kids this school year. A struggle that we find ourselves coming back to and I believe a lot of parents have the same issue is keeping up with reading. Keeping kids reading at their grade level can prove difficult and not every child learns the same or is receptive to techniques used in the classroom. Thailand… a destination most travelers long to visit. There’s just something so intriguing with the culture, the sites and all the amazing nature it holds. We recently had the opportunity to visit Bangkok and it was definitely a unique experience we will always remember. While we loved the culture, the incredibly friendly people and seeing all sites, but there was one detail that made our trip even more amazing, and that was where we stayed. Planning a vacation for just your immediate family can be overwhelming, let alone throwing in grandparents and other extended family members. We have done many multigenerational trips due to the benefits for our whole family. Grandparents get to have new experiences with their grandkids, and grandchildren get memories that they will always remember. We have many fantastic multigenerational trips, but there are some drawbacks that, if not prepared for, can put a huge damper on the whole trip.

As a family, we have been to Thailand numerous times, but every time we would leave I felt like we had missed something. Every trip was great, and we had visited every historic site and interesting attraction on our list and yet I still felt like something was missing. We always try to have an authentic experience wherever we go and I felt like we just weren’t completely achieving that when visiting Thailand.
