I wanted to make Mamas Spot different and better, so I added some great features to make couponing easy and fun! Here are just a few of the really cool features you can find on Mamas Spot. This page will also show you how to use all of these features.
Cool stuff on the front page:
The first thing you probably notice on Mamas Spot is the slider (the moving boxes on the top of the page)
You can click on the different colored bars to move to different sections. You can also click on the buttons in the left corner to look at more slides within that category.
Pop up tool tips:
I love these! When I first started couponing years ago I was so lost on couponing terms! These great little tool tips will help you with any couponing jargon. Just hover over any couponing word that doesn't make sense and you will get a little description.
Couponing Levels:
All over Mamas Spot you will see these different couponing levels: Easy, Beginner, Itermediate and Advanced. The First day that I decided to start couponing I went out that day and tried to do a very complicated deal thinking I was ready and I knew what I was doing, wow was I wrong!
I was at the register fumbling through coupons double checking ads, trying to add everything up and holding up a line of about 20 people. Needless to say I got in way over my head, couponing is something you need to ease into. So every deal has a level on the top of the post, to help you find the deals that are right for you. You will also find tabs on the top right of the site so you can look at all deals for a certain level.
Easy
No coupons should be required. If you just started couponing or you just want a good deal without any hassle these are the deals for you!
Beginner
If you are a little weary or just don't want to be overwhelmed, these deals will ease you into being a coupon pro!
Intermediate
Get ready to use multiple coupons! These deals could contain more than one coupon and possibly rebates.
Advanced
If you live for the really tough deals with the big payouts than this is your page. These deals don't come around all the time, but when they do they are worth it!
Searching Tools:
This is what you will see on the bottom of every post or deal. If you click on any of the tags you will be able to pull up all of the deals with the same tags.
Example: If you were to get one like above and you clicked on the Facebook Offer tag you would be taken to a page with only Facebook offer deals. This is a great way to find more deals of the same type. You will also see deal categories on the right and you can click on those and see everything in that same category.
There is also a list of popular categories and tags on the right hand side colum of the site.
Don't forget you can also just use the search bar also on the right hand side column to find anything you might be looking for.
Mamas Poll:
Mamas Spot has a poll every week that is located on the right hand side column. Each week we will also discuss the poll, all of the votes are anonymous so let us know what you think!
Mamas Spot deals sent right to you:
You can sign up to get a newsletter or an RSS feed sent straight to you every day. If you don't always have time to check out the site, but you want to stay on top of the deals this is a great way to do it. You can find both of these in the right hand side column.
