National Coffee Day!!

September 2014
,

I have been compensated by Eight O' Clock Coffee for my participation in this campaign as a part of the Mom It Forward Blogger Network. As always though all my crazy opinions and stories are my own.

Today I get the privilege of talking about two of my favorite things... coffee and friends! And in my opinion they go hand in hand; there's nothing better than an amazing cup of coffee and the company of good friends. Did you know that today is National Coffee Day? I'm not kidding, it really is National Coffee Day! Anyone else doing a little happy dance? As a coffee expert (ok, so that's a self appointed title) I have been through a lot of different brands in search for that perfect not over roasted smooth cup of coffee I can look forward to every morning and I found it three years ago in Eight O' Clock Coffee. Even better every bag is consistent, no "last bag was better than this bag". That is why I am celebrating this National Coffee Day with my friends and Eight O' Clock Coffee!

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Friends premiere, Eight O’Clock Coffee partnered with Warner Bros. to create the first-ever Central Perk Roast – a limited edition varietal inspired by the beloved coffee shop that served as the backdrop to so many memorable moments on the show.Friends fans throughout the country can celebrate this milestone and bring Central Perk into their own living rooms by purchasing bags of the limited edition variety at grocery and mass merchandise stores nationwide and online at EightOClock.com/friends for approximately $6.99.

And if you reside in New York City you will want to check out a pop-up replica of Central Perk, the neighborhood coffee shop frequented by the characters on Friends.

Located in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood at 199 Lafayette Street (at the corner of Broome Street), the Central Perk commemorative pop-up shop will serve free cups of Eight O’ Clock Coffee and feature authentic memorabilia including the iconic orange couch and improv musical acts reminiscent of Phoebe’s "Smelly Cat.”

The pop-up shop will be open to the public September 17 – October 18.

Don't you just love the "Smelly Cat" episode? It's by far one of my favorite episodes and I absolutely loved all of Phoebes "songs" that she sang at the coffee shop.

And for those that don't live near New York City Eight O’Clock Coffee fans throughout the country looking to join in on the National Coffee Day celebration can visit Eight O’Clock Coffee’s Facebook page for a chance to win coffee prizes and a trip to LA to visit the Warner Brothers studios!!

Also you can grab a high value $3 off coupon here!

To say that Eight O' Clock knows coffee better than any other leading brand is an understatement since they have been making coffee since the 1800's!

If you want to celebrate this National Coffee Day in style be sure to grab some Eight O' Clock Coffee, a buddy, pop in a friends DVD and catch up with new and old friends with an amazing cup of coffee. It doesn't get better than that.
