Our family has now been traveling the world for over a year now, and with two kids in tow I am always looking for kid friendly accommodations. Not just family friendly but kid friendly. I know to most you wouldn’t understand the difference here, but there is a big difference between allowing kids and families and providing amenities to make kids feel more welcome. I want my kids to have a great time when we head to new destinations, I want it to be memorable for them and if this can start with the hotel we stay at then it’s even better.
I wanted a kid friendly experience when we recently visited Kuala Lumpur and I found this with Furama Hotel. Not only did they welcome us with open arms but they went above and beyond to make our kids feel welcome too. It first started when we walked into the hotel lobby and not only was I greeted, but the kiddos were greeted as well. I instantly noticed off to the side of the lobby a play area for younger children and at that moment I knew they completely understood their guests with kids.
Not many hotels put in kids play areas so this is a fantastic bonus for those with young kids. It doesn’t stop at the lobby though.

I would definitely recommend this package as it really made our stay in KL fantastic! The kids loved being able to visit the aquarium and as parents we loved all the extra little bonuses that this packaged included.
The real magic of our stay was found when the kids opened the door to our suite. Once inside they found a whole room decorated just for them! From the beds to the bathroom it was decked out to be a space just for them. It was cute I couldn’t stop taking photos of the room. Our kids felt like it wasn’t just a bed, but it was their bed. The bathroom had toothbrushes, soap and other toiletries just for them. The frog theming was so cute and I was very excited for them to have a room decorated just for them.

The set-up is equipped with child-friendly amenities that includes bed sheet and comforter, pillow, cushion, bedroom slippers, small play table with chair, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath towel, hand towel, toilet bowl seat cover, small step-stool in the bathroom, kiddie mug with spoon and Milo sachets. The Family Room accommodates up to two adults and two children.

The rooms at The Furama Bukit Bintang are very spacious and perfect for families. We also loved being right across from The Berjaya Times Square Mall and Theme Park. This was an added bonus that gave us the opportunity to go shopping or eat at a wide variety of restaurants any time we wanted.
We really enjoyed also eating at the hotel’s restaurant Spices. They have a wide variety meals including Malay dishes to enjoy. They also have a great kids meal for the kiddos.
