Thailand… a destination most travelers long to visit. There’s just something so intriguing with the culture, the sites and all the amazing nature it holds. We recently had the opportunity to visit Bangkok and it was definitely a unique experience we will always remember. While we loved the culture, the incredibly friendly people and seeing all sites, but there was one detail that made our trip even more amazing, and that was where we stayed. When looking for a hotel I wanted something family friendly, comfortable and located in the heart of Bangkok. I knew as soon as I saw U Sathorn I had found the perfect resort for our family.
As soon as you arrive you feel like you have stepped into a different world. One that is filled with peace and tranquility. I felt as if I was arriving at a spa instead of a hotel, all my travel stress and worries just melted away. Nothing less than 5-star service is what you will be greeted with at U Sathorn. You know you will be well taken care of during your stay.
We stayed in one of the Suite rooms which came with: Happy Hour whenever/wherever, a complimentary welcome cocktail, complimentary minibar beverages, a special Thai turn down service (with Thai cookies) and a local charity’s memorable souvenir.
The room was equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay and more! We have stayed at many other luxury hotels and resorts, but I was taken back by how beautifully appointed our suite was. After a hectic day out in the city I can’t imagine a better place to come back to and relax.
The hotel also features a workout room, luxurious pool and the must visit J’AIME that brings fantastic new cuisine to the hotel guests.
I have so many things that I love about this property, but if I had to single something out I would have to tell you about the unique and innovative “24-hour room” concept that U Sathorn boasts. This amazing concept allows guests to enjoy their room for a full 24-hours. No checking in at 4 PM just to have to check-out at 11 AM. I feel like so many hotels are limiting more and more how much time you get to actually enjoy at the property. If I arrive in a city at 9 AM it can be difficult to find something for our whole family to do until check-in time. At U Sathorn you can check-in when you want and from that point you have your room for a full 24 hours!
U Sathorn also has breakfast whenever/wherever. This makes vacationing with kids so much easier! If you want to eat breakfast in your room at noon, you can. If you would rather eat in the restaurant at 7 am, you can. You could even eat at the pool!
If you are looking to get out and explore U Sathorn offers its guests bikes and transport to the local subway station. We even got to ride in the U Sathorn tuk-tuk. Our kids loved this!
