Once a week our family has a special breakfast. We sit down and really take the time to connect and to also have something different from our usual breakfasts. Recently we have really got into dessert waffles and making our own dessert bar. I am always looking for easier ways to get food to the table so I love that I can use Eggo Waffles (my kids favorite) and Reddi-Wip to bring our waffle bar together in an easy and fun way.

When my daughter really gets into a Netflix show it seems to take over our world and this is definitely the case right now with Spirit Riding Free. This is one show though that our whole family loves to watch and we really love having it on while we are making breakfast.

So our recent Waffle Bar Breakfast was definitely a “spirit” filled breakfast. I love that Spirit Riding Free has very positive themes and is really empowering for young girls. Spirit Riding Free is set in the 19th century where the main character Lucky a meets a wild mustang named Spirit. Lucky bonds with him and becomes friends. She meets two other girls that love horses and together they have great adventures!
So for this Waffle Bar Breakfast my kids wanted to see if they could make a horse out of their waffles. We went to Walmart to grab our Eggo Waffles and Reddi-Wip Here are their really cute creations:
My daughter made her own Spirit and my son decided he’d rather have a unicorn. Lol

We gathered some of our favorite things including Reddi-Wip and our Eggo Waffles and put all of our other toppings on. I personally love making a waffle sandwich.
Recipe:
- 2 Eggo Waffles
- Reddi-Wip
- Strawberries (or favorite fruit)
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Put your ice cream between two warm, fluffy and delicious Eggo Waffles. I love that Eggo Waffles toast up to a delicious golden crisp in just minutes. They start to melt the ice cream and it’s so good. Top with your Reddi-Wip which uses best dairy cream in original flavors and uses less hydrogenated oils than other frozen whipped toppings - real cream is a top priority! Then just garnish with your fruit and you have an amazing Eggo Waffle dessert!

Want to add Spirit to your breakfast? I highly suggest trying out dessert waffles with Eggo & Reddi-Wip
And be sure to check out “Spirit Riding Free” on Netflix!
