Do you ever look for alternative accommodations when traveling? Something other than your typical hotel stay? As a family of four we are always looking for something that has more of a home feel. Somewhere I can cook a meal or two and we have more space to roam around. “The romance capital of the world”. Most dream of going to Paris with their significant other, but have you thought about taking the kids? I always recommend Paris with kids and usually people are quite surprised to hear that it is a very family friendly destination. Paris has so much to offer kids and families and it’s a shame not to take kids to such a wonderful city.

Ever since my first time in Japan I have been obsessed with anything Japanese inspired. I love the simplicity and efficiency of Japanese design and when I am in a space created with this in mind I always feel at peace. During my travels I am always on the lookout for Japanese inspired properties and I was incredibly excited to find the Watermark hotel on our recent journey to Bali.

It’s no secret in our family that I prefer nice, clean, and perfectly tempered hotel rooms, so needless to say the next part of our Costa Rica family adventure definitely put me a little outside of my comfort zone. In the end, it turned out it was for the best, though, and I wouldn’t trade our time tenting for anything else!

Thailand… a destination most travelers long to visit. There’s just something so intriguing with the culture, the sites and all the amazing nature it holds. We recently had the opportunity to visit Bangkok and it was definitely a unique experience we will always remember. While we loved the culture, the incredibly friendly people and seeing all sites, but there was one detail that made our trip even more amazing, and that was where we stayed. When looking for a hotel I wanted something family friendly, comfortable and located in the heart of Bangkok. I knew as soon as I saw U Sathorn I had found the perfect resort for our family.
