We recently visited Johor Malaysia for a great family vacation and we wanted to include as many kid friendly activities as possible. With this in mind, we knew we had to go to LEGOLAND Malaysia! LEGOLAND Malaysia is the full LEGO experience with a hotel, water park, and theme park. Every part of the property is really easy to access and I highly recommend staying at the hotel since you can be right at the water or theme park in less than two minutes.

While the whole LEGOLAND Malaysia experience is super fun and exciting for adults it’s something kids will always remember and cherish.

Fall is by far my favorite season; my husband calls me the Goldilocks of seasons because I can find something wrong with every season except fall. The air is crisp, the colors are beautiful and it’s the perfect time for a family road trip! As with any time you stick kiddos in a car though it’s always best to be prepared especially for long rides. “Travel with kids”, sometimes the very words can make a parent panic. It can be hard enough to fly with one or two people, but throw a kid into the mix, and things get complicated. Well… that’s my life. We travel constantly with our two kids in tow. While I feel they are well-behaved kids and I love traveling with them, they inevitably complicate some parts of travel. I am always making sure they are fed, happy, and comfortable. This isn’t always easy, and I am always on the lookout for tools that can help me do the job.

Recently, we decided that it was time for our kids to finally experience the Big Apple!  My husband and I had been many times, but this was their first experience, and I couldn’t wait to see NYC through their eyes. For a child, going from a small town to the big city is a huge change, and I knew it would be fascinating for them. New York City isn’t exactly what I would consider kid friendly, but it still has a lot to offer the young ones. From huge parks to amazingly tall buildings, kids are sure to be captivated by this impressive city.

Whether you travel around the globe (like our family) or head out short trips or “staycations” it can be hard to know what to pack. We have been circling the globe for almost two years now and it can still feel like we just aren’t quite packed right or that we are missing something. Over time I have become a much better packer though and as a mom I am apparently pre-programmed to make sure I have every possible necessity for any possible situation (you just never know when you might need to MacGyver something out of two pencils, a baby wipe and your kids chewed up gum they handed back to you).
