If Music Brings Us Together, Then The "Meaning of Life" Album Will Make Us Dance!

For as long as I can remember music has moved me. It has a power over me that can completely change my outlook, my whole day and even my emotions. I remember the exact moments I heard “new” artists and when fell in love with their songs. I especially remember this with Kelly Clarkson. It feels as if her music has been with me the longest and I almost can’t remember a time I wasn’t blasting her songs on the radio.

Our family always tries to pack as light as possible, but we all have our “must pack” items that go with us everywhere. All of us can agree that music is important for our journey and we have to have headphones to listen on planes and car rides. My daughter has taken this to a whole other level though with her MindKoo Unicat Wireless Headphones. Not only does she look incredibly cute every time I look back from the front seat of a car, but these adorable headphones are also super practical and perfect for travel.

Lately, I am blown away by all the amazing opportunities kids have now days. So much information and technology right at their fingertips. My daughter is nine, and there isn’t anything she can’t easily learn. At her age, I would have had to head to the library and hope they had a book on what I wanted to learn. It was difficult, and I missed a lot of opportunities because of this. I am so grateful, though that it can be different for my daughter. She can do anything she wants and, with practice and focus, learn new abilities and skills.

Becoming financially responsible has been a huge topic in our home recently. With two older kids we want to make sure they are fiscally responsible and we know it’s our job as parents to make sure they are ready for the real world. We have set up budgets and jobs for all of our kids, but it can be difficult to distribute that money to them. Gone are the days of a piggy bank. In this day in age with so much technology it just seems so antiquated.

Beautiful pictures, we all see them all the time and wish our photos were just as nice. In the age of amazing Instagram pages plastered with beautiful destinations, food and more it can be hard to not feel like your own photos just don’t stand out as well or pop. There are many photo editing programs out there to help in making beautiful photos, but they all come with their own complications. When you need to have courses to learn a program you know it’s going to be more complicated than just uploading a photo and making a few tweaks. These programs can also put a serious dent in your wallet.

About Mamas Spot

We are a family of four that left it all behind to go travel the world. No, literally we left it all. We sold all of our possessions, packed what we could into four suitcases and said goodbye to suburban life. All we own is now pulled behind us as we travel to new and exciting destinations. Showing our kids the world and teaching them about new cultures, food, and ways of life is now our 9-5.

We love watching our kids learn, and learning along side them. Together we have now explored many new countries, visited family on the other side of the world, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Welcome to our journey!
